The Director of Rural Impact is a full-time, senior-level professional position within Partners for Education at Berea College. This position will report to the Chief Strategy and Finance Officer. The Director of Rural Impact will be responsible for the management and oversight of an array of capacity-building programs, including the development of new initiatives, in support of Partners for Education’s strategic plan to influence systems and effect large-scale community change on behalf of Appalachian children. The primary duties revolve around planning and implementation of external capacity building programs built on the frameworks of collective impact and the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Results Count™. As Partners for Education works with other organizations within Appalachia and rural America to apply these frameworks, the Director of Rural Impact will lead design teams associated with these different programs and work closely with other Partners for Education staff to ensure these initiatives are successful and maintain fidelity to the models.
