Dr. Kim Facilitates Korean Gov't Visit to Frankfort

On September 20, 2019 The Boone National Guard Center in Frankfort hosted an annual Korean War commemoration ceremony and Dr. Kim helped bring an official from the Korean government.

The Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs, and Dr. Y.S. Kim Consular General of Chicago gave Ambassador of Peace medals to some of the 70 veterans in attendance. The Martin School's IPPMI program director Dr. Doo Oak Kim facilitated the invitation of Dr. Y.S. Kim to the event as an official representative of the Korean government and was in attendance to see the presentation of medals to veterans and their families.
