Students in PPL 401 - Data and Evidence in Public Policy presented their data visualization projects this April. Topics were very diverse and included higher education, drug policies, zoning laws, reduction of firearm-related crimes, and more. In this class, students learn to clean, analyze, and visualize data relevant to policy problems using Excel, Tableau, R, and other programs. Public policy majors take this class during their second year in the program, and it is an elective for the public policy minor.
