Biography : 

Cole Rakow received his Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from the Martin School in 2016, after writing his dissertation about state and local government revenue policy. He currently works as an economist for the New York City Independent Budget Office, where he is responsible for forecasting the city’s business tax revenues and tracking tax policy changes at the federal level, interpreting the impact that such changes will have at the state and city level.
