Welcome from the Director

On behalf of our faculty and staff, I welcome you to the website of the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky. I encourage you to learn about our highly ranked academic programs, the research interests of our faculty, the activities of our students, and the successes of our alumni.

Established in 1976, the Martin School has a long tradition of providing students with the skills they need for a successful professional career. As part of our programs, students are exposed to nationally renowned faculty and curriculum that combines theory and practice, while also participating in internships that allow the students to practice the art of solving real-world problems. The Martin School hosts symposiums and seminars which provide students exciting opportunities to hear and talk with national, state, and local policymakers and leaders.

For those who are looking to make an impact through the public or non-profit sector, we offer a recognized, interdisciplinary, professional education. We encourage you to apply for admission into our community of learners, practitioners, and leaders.
