Henry Clay Congress 2017

It's been an exciting couple of weeks at the Martin School! Staff, faculty, and doctoral students had the exciting opportunity to partner with The Henry Clay Center for Statesmanship to work with college students from all over the USA! Fifty students converged in Lexington for a week of programs focusing on the salient theme of compromise.

Students Visit DC

In October, thirteen students, Katie Sanders, and Dr. Hackbart visited our nation's Capitol for our professional development trip. This year's trip was a mix of old and new-- the group reconnected with old friends and made some new contacts, too!

At our 2016 Martin School Alumni & Friends Reception in November, we honored three members of our community who are dear to many, both personally and professionally.

Lyons Award Winner Announced

In conjunction with the department of Political Science, we are excited to announce the recipient of the Lyons Award-- Professor Allison Connelly, the James and Mary T. Lassiter Clinical Professor in the College of Law. She will be honored this coming Wednesday at 3 pm on the 18th floor of POT, with a reception to follow.
