The Martin School's new accelerated 3+3 program with the UK J. David Rosenberg College of Law provides Public Policy students a potential pathway to complete a BA in Public Policy and a J.D. in six rather than seven years. During their participation in the program, students engage in pre-law activities and events designed to prepare them to apply and succeed in law school. Students accepted into the program take the LSAT the summer following their second year, and apply to the UK J. David Rosenberg College of Law during the regular admission process during their third undergraduate year. If accepted into the J. David Rosenberg College of Law, students would take exclusively law school courses during their senior year, which would count both as their first year of law school and as electives for completing their undergraduate degree hours.
