Three seniors presented their capstone projects this Wednesday, November 29th in the Cornerstone on campus. These students have worked under guidance from the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Dr. Cory Curl, to develop policy briefs which address policy problems of their choice. The public policy capstone is a graduation requirement for all majors, and is their chance to dig into a policy area that they really care about and propose evidence-based solutions. This fall, the research areas included transportation, housing, and child welfare issues.

Our three students and their capstones are:

Irina Mohler, "Child Welfare in Kentucky"

Zach Owen, "Homeownership and Mortgage Loans: How Important Is a Conventional Loan?”

Jack Reynolds, "Making Transportation Safer"

Congratulations to our three seniors on completing these projects!
