John Hicks Represents NASBO as 2019 NAPA Fellow

NASBO is pleased to announce that John Hicks has been selected by the National Academy of Public Administration (the Academy) for inclusion in its 2019 Class of Academy Fellows, in recognition of his role as NASBO’s Executive Director and his 35 years of public administration service and expertise. John’s selection reflects on NASBO as a well-respected representative of the state government public finance and management sector. Chartered by Congress to provide non-partisan expert advice, the Academy is an independent, non-profit, and non-partisan organization established in 1967 to assist government leaders in building more effective, efficient, accountable, and transparent organizations. NASBO’s prior Executive Director, Scott Pattison, was inducted in 2009 during his time as head of NASBO as well.
