Award Details

Before starting the application, students should consult with a faculty member to write a 1-2 page research proposal (250-500 words); please bear in mind that responsibility for identifying a research topic rests with the student. It's recommended that students approach potential faculty mentors early in the process before starting the application. Once the application is submitted, the mentor will receive an email request for a letter of recommendation. Projects submitted without a faculty mentor will not be considered for funding.
